Ordering Chicora Publications

Individuals and Organizations

All titles are available to individuals through bookstores or directly from Chicora. We encourage you to purchase books from your local bookseller since this keeps small, locally-owned businesses healthy. If the book you need is not in stock locally, place a special order with your bookseller. Many special orders can be filled very quickly using regional distribution centers. Try it! A special order is likely to be more efficient than you expected. And, collectively, they are a fine way to support local booksellers.

Orders less than $50 require prepayment. Orders for $50 or more can be prepaid or billed to your organization.

All prices are in US funds. Costs increase and we reserve the right to adjust prices as necessary.

Rates include shipping, handling, and insurance: $7.50 for the first publication, $1.25 for each additional publication for shipment to the 48 contiguous states. For shipments to Alaska, Hawaii, Puerto Rico, or Canada, please call. We ship Ground UPS - please ensure that you provide us with a street address. We cannot ship UPS to post office boxes. Overnight or special handling requires additional fees. Call 803/787-6910 for details.

We are a small organization, but make shipments as quickly as possible. However, please allow 2-3 weeks.

Resellers

We allow a 20% discount on all orders.

Refunds and Exchanges 

Because we are a small research organization, there are no refunds. Publications will be exchanged only if defective.

If you feel that your order is damaged, please contact UPS – all our shipments are insured through the shipper and it is purchaser’s responsibility to pursue collection for damages. We will, of course, assist you in this, but we cannot replace damaged shipments without reimbursement from UPS.
